Howdy Folks!

Mike, Theresa, and Aaron Thomas sincerely welcome you to our Dry Creek Ranch on Lake Fork, in Quitman, Texas for Ranch Sorting Practices in our outdoor arena. From the menu, the 'Event Calendar' link provides dates and times for upcoming events. The 'Map & Contact Info' link provides maps to find us, as well as our telephone number (in case you get lost). We encourage you to check the calendar before you haul for notification of cancellation of event due to weather or family emergency.

We do not run "Sorry Team, No Time" events. The 'Ranch Rules' link provides our complete event and sorting rules for all practices. Our goal is for you to get adequate practice runs in a 2-hour timeframe. If attendance picks up in the future, we will increase practice time as needed. Our motto is start on time, end on time.

About Us...

We started our ranch as a Cow Calf operation to use as a retirement supplement. Mike's since retired from Arlington Fire Department, and we decided to check out Ranch Sorting as a hobby we could enjoy together. We fell in love with it, and the fellowship with new and old friends that came with it. Due to rising fuel costs, we decided to turn our ranch operation into a yearling operation, where we could practice locally. This is a new venture for us, so please utilize our 'Feedback' link to provide comments, express concerns, ask questions, and/or any ideas for improvement.
